Cummins Inc. Power Generation Field Service Technician - West London Area in Berkshire, United Kingdom

We are looking for an experienced Field Service Technician to join our team specializing in Service in our Distribution Business Segment in London.

This is a permanent contract working day shift, Monday to Friday.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

· Performs preventative maintenance activities as per documented schedules and standards on power generation products in the field.

· Escalates unresolved issues to product specialists / Supervisor.

· Completes required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens.

· Completes training in line with skill and business requirements.

· Maintains service vehicle and tools for cleanliness and proper operation.

· Ensure adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and reports any issues / incidents to site management and to their supervisor.

· The ability to work with minimal supervision Installation.

· Ability to accurately diagnose faults.

· Accurate and timely completion of Service Documentation.

· Highlight ‘upsell’ opportunities to the Customer and ensure that any ‘rejected’ opportunities are evident on the Service Worksheet before Customer signature.

QUALIFICATIONS

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

· Minimum of 3 years’ experience diagnosing and repairing of Power Generation equipment.

· Mechanical / Electrical experience.

· 18 th Edition Electrical qualification preferred.

· Electrical Theory and Troubleshooting.

· Minimum of City & Guilds or equivalent in electrical engineering.

· LV/HV Switchgear experience preferred but not essential.

· Experience in PLC control systems preferred but not essential.

Additional Information:

· Flexibility to work across the UK from time to time.

· 24/7 Call Out Rota (1 in 5 Week Coverage)
