Cummins Inc. Application Engineer in Birmingham, Alabama
We are looking for a talented Application Engineer to join our team specializing in ENGINEERING for our Distribution Business in Central/North Alabama; Mississippi or Eastern, Louisiana.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Provide Technical Customer Management Support for OEM (Original Equipment Manufactory)
Provides engineering data, documentation, and training to customers to support the design and integration of equipment.
Provide Product Application Support - Develop and manage accurate and complete technical content.
Provides management of technical systems to support all installation requirements. Able to manage multiple projects at once.
Utilize Machine Integration and Optimization system by using our standard tools, processes and identify best practices.
Must provide product installation quality, product selection and problem-solving skills.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Senior or Lead Engineer work experience within a relevant discipline area is preferred. Minimum 2 plus years (excluding internships) engineering work experience is Required.
For this role is a hands-on role utilizing hand tools, and instrumenting engines for validation testing.
The candidate will be required to live in either Central/North Alabama; Mississippi or Eastern, Louisiana.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
College, university, or equivalent Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other relevant technical disciplines is required.

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
