Chemical Systems Technical Specialist
We are looking for a talented Chemical Systems Technical Specialist to join our team specializing in Engineering for our Cummins Emission Solutions Business Unit in Columbus, Indiana/your remote home office. This position will be mostly remote with periodic travel to our Columbus, Indiana site.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Lead catalyst technology selection, sizing, and characterization activities for TI/VPI programs
Interface with system teams and EBU/PSBU teams to define requirements and translate them to component level
Interact with all major catalyst suppliers for technology development and selection
Partner with performance and integration teams for flawless program delivery
Work on multiple different catalyst technologies like DOC, DPF, SCR,ASC, TWC, OC
Work with R&T functions for next gen catalyst technology development. Support current product issues and VPCR
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Bachelors, Masters or PHD in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, Chemical preferred.
2-5 years of prior Senior or Lead Engineer equivalent work experience in a relevant discipline area is required with a demonstrated track record of technical problem solving and quality decision making.
Prior experience in working with after treatment systems a plus.
Knowledge of MS Office tools is preferred

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
