We are looking for a talented CSAR Build Support Engineer to join our team specializing in Engineering for our business segment in Columbus, IN.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Prior entry level engineering equivalent work experience in a relevant discipline area is required. Knowledge of MS Office tools is preferred- Investigate build related issues within CSAR using debugger, bench, and CSAR development tools to the point of understanding assignable cause for the problem

  • Investigation testing may happen within actual HW or within the virtual ECM environment.

  • Create/Track CR/DCR for the assignable cause of issues found in the build and report on DCR/CR progress to the build customer.

  • Learn and understand the various tools in the CSAR development chain to provide assistance with rework activities or investigation of the fix identified. They will not be responsible for the production fit but may be called on to help with test builds for verification of the fix.

  • Share lessons learned with developers and architects on common issues or problems. Develop a knowledge dB of these items and request changes to design templates and processes to improve the first time right capability of the builds.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Know or Learn to be an expert in the use of the debugger

  • Know or Learn to be at least user level on each of the tools used in the CSAR development chain

  • Good communication skills

  • Ability to write, track, close DCRs, CRs within defect reporting tool

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
