Mechanical Engineering Drafting Technician (Hourly) Columbus, Indiana
We are looking for a talented Mechanical Engineering Drafting Technician to join our team at the Cummins Fuel Systems Plant in Columbus, IN with starting pay of $30.00 -$34.00/hour.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
The qualified candidate will be able to efficiently navigate and use Windchill and Creo to process Change Requests. The job entails being able to create and edit models to produce finished drawings which will be released in Windchill.
Mentors and trains less experienced Product Designers.
Checks models and drawings prior to release.
Creates assemblies to ensure fit to mating parts.
Works with engineering to generate concept models.
Participates in and/or leads Drawing Quality Reviews.
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
High school diploma, GED or equivalent required with Department of Labor Certification OR
Associates degree from an accredited program in a related field and at least two years of relevant experience OR
Bachelor’s degree in a related field OR
Relevant military education and experience.

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
