Description
We are looking for a talented Plant Manager to join our team specializing in operations for our Cummins Engine Business Segment headquartered in Columbus, Indiana. The role is designated onsite , and requires a relocation to Columbus, Indiana.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Directs, manages, and leads a cross functional team to ensure speed, dependability, and efficiency in plant operations
Directs and manages relationships to exceed customer needs
Directs and manages all plant functions to meet deliverables and drive improvements
Directs the use of Cummins values, processes, and procedures, including promoting the right environment
Directs the development of strategies and goals to meet the overall business unit and enterprise objectives
Directs the impacts between the plant and the overall operations and supply chain
Drives internal and external cross-functional interactions
Leads the development of operational plans and monitors performance while maintaining budgetary oversight responsibilities
Coaches and motivates staff, provides guidance and direction on problems and issues; delegates work assignments considering employee skills and development needs

Education/Experience
College, university, or equivalent bachelor’s degree required
Broad business leadership experience, including managerial, budgetary, and cross-functional experience, required
Strategy, long term planning and execution of New Product Introduction, capacity expansion and alignment with future market demand, required
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
