We are looking for a talented CAD Specialist to join our Facilities team at the UK Logistics Centre in Daventry.
This is a permanent contract working 37.5 hours per week. Monday – Friday 08:00-16:00.
Salary is £27,000-33,000 depending on experience
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
-Supports a facility through engineering services and drafting services to support projects related to improvement of electrical, structural, and mechanical systems. Including office layouts and production line layout drafting services.
-Supports projects by drafting layouts and designs from engineer.
-Supports the Facilities Coordinator and Supervisor with projects and general workload.
-Communicates to consult with electrical, structural, mechanical contract engineers to develop drafting designs and layouts.
-Develops project requirements based on the needs of the facility and space allocations.
-Ensures that projects and facilities meet state and local building codes.
-Updates building drawings using AutoCAD.
-Performs problem solving, creative technical and analytical work, budget management and hands-on applications.
-Manages own work and maintains a flexible schedule in order to meet the demands of priority work.
-Manage Facilities department training requirements.
-Attend CI Scheme meetings and support with actions assigned to Facilities.
-Assist with raising departmental orders.
Qualifications
