We are looking for a talented Warehouse Supervisor to lead our small, close-knit team in our Emerald Warehouse. The role works independently to oversee the warehouse and manage the team. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Managing the day to day running of the warehouse including overseeing warehouse operators and supporting / covering their duties as required
Receive incoming goods, accurately sort, label/package, store goods and arrange storage to optimize warehouse space
Managing frequent cycle counts and the annual stock control
Assisting customers both in person and over the phone, providing assistance with parts interpreting, prioritizing orders and managing any urgent enquiries / issues
Manage core and parts credits, organize parts and freight, check parts availability and work with the service advisors to ensure parts are assigned and sent accordingly
Ensures a clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping tasks and compliance
Operates manual and automated equipment (including a forklift/RF scanners) to pick, pack and ship product and adhering to all health and safety guidelines
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Previous warehousing/stores experience is essential
Be keen to step into a leadership role, having great people and organisational skills
Previous experience in a customer facing role as part of a team would be beneficial
A current Forklift license or be prepared to undertake certification after commencement
Excellent computer skills (MS Office – intermediate Excel) and have the ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
