We are looking for a talented Customer Order Management Specialist - Senior to join our team specializing in Supply Chain Planning for the Components Business Segment in Fletcher, NC.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Responsible for the end-to-end order life cycle for medium to complex customer accounts. Acts as a single point of contact for customers to resolve order processing, scheduling,g and shipping queries.

  • Owns and manages end-to-end order life cycle responsibility for medium to complex key customers.

  • Resolves order exceptions and customer inquiries on product availability, prices, delivery times, and the status of orders so that inquiries are dealt with promptly and accurately.

  • Liaises with functional stakeholders to mitigate short and mid-term customer constraints.

  • Analyzes customer inquiries to identify recurring user problems, recommend solutions, and identify where customer service can be improved. Ensures internal and external customers' expectations and requirements are met.

  • Complies with communication plans and processes to ensure stakeholders’ needs are met.

  • Supports Customer Order Management departmental goals and initiatives to become a more proactive customer-centric organization: develops, documents, and enhances standard administrative practices as they pertain to customer communication, and order throughput processes.

  • Identifies ideas and develops proactive communications for the assigned customer base, regarding processes, policy, and/or best practices.

  • Mentors and trains new team members and provides backup coverage across multiple accounts.

  • Leads local continuous improvement projects and participates in global projects.

  • Order Life Cycle Systems Knowledge - Demonstrates the steps within each system screen to process customer orders, order modifications and respond to customer queries to ensure accurate and timely order processing and query resolution.

Education, Licenses, Certifications

  • College, university, or equivalent degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related subject required.

  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience

  • Intermediate level of relevant work experience required; customer order management; customer-facing; supply chain/logistics; international trade experience preferred.

  • This position is at least 4 days per week on-site.

  • Manage, track & load the demand for product lines within eMobility Accelera with the forecast & firm orders. Track & follow with the sales team, forecast that should have a firm PO. Track & follow the timeline for new PNs to load demand & drive material.

  • Report KPI for Accelera eAxle (OTD, changes within lead time & forecast accuracy). Solve & proactively drive timely production to optimize on-time delivery to customers.

  • Communicate with customers on delivery issues, orders, returnable dunnage, parts replacement, RMA PO & miscellaneous customer requests.

  • Schedule trucks for the outbound material forAccelera.

  • Lead & drive improvements to balance supply& demand.

  • Set up processes for contract manufacturing ofAccelera within Cummins plant. Experience in process improvement & project management.

  • Excellent attention to detail & accuracy in data entry.

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications & MRP.

  • Strong organizational & time-management skills to manage multiple priorities & tasks.

  • Strong communication & customer service skills to build positive relationships with customers. Strong ability to work independently. Team player with agility to work in a cross-functional environment.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

  • An associate's or bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base Salary range commensurate with experience, range: $74,800 - $112,200 . Please note that the salary range provided is a good-faith estimate of the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage, and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
