We are looking for a talented Field Services Supervisor to join our team specialising in Heavy Vehicle repairs and maintenance for our Geraldton branch.

This is a role for someone with previous supervising or service advising experience in the heavy automotive industry who is highly motivated, has a customer centric mind set with automotive technical background to join an established Field Service / workshop team.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Lead, mentor, and coach a team of 5 experienced service technicians and one apprentice - oversee repairs and sign off on Technician’s work

  • Lead diagnostic support and escalation process improvement activities

  • Manage repair strategy and the coordination of parts support

  • Take charge in allocating jobs to staff and ensure timely completion and provide ‘hands on’ support when required

  • Perform occasional off-site work, including highway and power generation sites

  • Ensure tidiness and the upkeep of the workshop and equipment and Adheres to all HSE policies and procedures

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Proven supervisory/leadership experience with a strong technical background – ideally within heavy diesel

  • Significant experience in a workshop environment with Strong leadership and people management skills

  • A certificate III in Heavy Vehicle Trade – highly desirable

  • Motivated towards developing a high performing and professional team and their commitment to safety and providing exceptional customer service

Compensation and Benefits

Annual salary commensurate with experience. Participation in an annual variable compensation (bonus) program. Salary continuance insurance. Safety equipment / PPE and uniforms provided and a range of personal and professional benefits. Relocation assistance if moving within Australia (conditions apply).
