Description

We are looking for a talented Business Development Leader to help drive the growth of our New Power business in Europe.

The position will be responsible for leading New Power product sales for commercial vehicles in Europe, including Fuel Cells & Batteries .

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Responsible for leading New Power product sales for commercial vehicles in Europe, including Fuel Cells & Batteries for the commercial vehicle segment.

  • Responsible for business development, quoting strategy and successfully engaging in complex negotiations

  • Builds processes and procedures to understand competition and input to market lead pricing propositions for designated areas

  • Direct interaction with large OEMs at the senior level and collaborating with internal business managers on business development initiatives and plans.

  • Responsible for business development, quoting strategy and successfully engaging in complex negotiations

  • Prospects, develops and captures new opportunities with the largest and/or most complex accounts.

  • Builds processes and procedures to understand competition and input to market lead pricing propositions for designated areas

  • Direct interaction with large OEMs at the senior level and collaborating with internal business managers on business development initiatives and plans.

  • Develops/Executes strategies and plans to build customer relationships and achieve revenue and profitability goals within a very large assigned sales territory and/or the highest complexity market.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • University or college degree in the field of Sales or Marketing, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.

  • Ability to operate with credibility and engage with senior customers and stakeholders

  • Experience in Field Sales and or Account Management desirable. Significant travel may be required.

  • Knowledge of the On-Highway market and selling to OEMs & Fleet

  • Experience with and knowledge of, new power products, such as battery and hydrogen fuel cell products
