We are looking for a talented Senior Business Development Specialist to join our team specializing in Hydrogen for our Cummins Hydrogenics Business in Germany.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Responsible for supporting specific business development initiatives and tactics within a region, market, customer, or product segment.
Developing, managing, and maintaining business relationships with potential accounts at appropriate levels, supporting the organization's sales strategy.
Developing leads and proposals to ensure profitable growth or new business opportunities for new market segments.
Collaborating with marketing and strategy counterparts to identify attractive market segments, lines of business, or product lines to pursue as well as assuring good communication and coordination between account management, field sales, upstream influencers, sales management, inside sales and sales analysts to attain the goals of the sales strategy and culture.
Developing new product/business forecasts through utilization of Cummins tools and processes (i.e. common sales cycle, Customer Relationship Management Systems).
Represent Cummins in relevant industry associations and event.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Master’s degree level qualification (Or equivalent) in a STEM/Business related subject.
Good understanding of the overall energy landscape (Power, Oil & Gas and Renewables).
English and German speaking and writing. Any additional languages will also be a strong asset.
Proven experience in a consultative Business Development/Sales Engineering role.
