Our Corporate Compensation and Benefits Strategy group powers our Business Segments by designing and delivering sustainable Compensation and Benefits programs that support attraction, retention and movement of talent.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Compensation and Benefits specialist to join our team, supporting our businesses across the European region. This will be based in our Groß-Gerau or Marktheidenfeld with the flexibility to work at home 2-3 days per week after an initial onboarding period.
As Compensation and Benefits Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing competitive programs that allow us to attract and retain key talent. The successful candidate will conduct internal/external market analysis and work with multiple stakeholders to develop and implement recommended programs. The role will perform compensation analysis and reporting, as well as support strategic projects such as acquisitions.
This position will suit candidates with experience in either a senior C&B analyst or manager capacity within a multinational organisation. You must be comfortable influencing and communicating with Senior Management and providing guidance to line HR colleagues.
Your impact will be seen in these and other ways:
Research to understand external market compensation and benefits trends and practices
Develop tools, processes and key performance metrics for designated compensation processes; measure and analyze the effectiveness of compensation programs and process delivery
Reviewing pay structures, analyzing pay data, completing pay surveys
Managing the annual compensation cycle for the region
Pay bargaining support
Support development of Sales Compensation policies for the region
Business Partnering with Line HR and Senior Management
Ensure that policies, review, approval, and reporting practices comply with corporate governance practices and applicable legislation
Support development and implementation of regional Health and Wellbeing initiatives to improve the health, safety and productivity of employees
Skills and Experience Required:
English is essential
Any other European languages would be an asset
Solid German Compensation and Benefits experience in a unionized environment
Solid (international) Compensation and Benefits experience
Experience with design and implementation of Compensation policy and processes, job matching/grading, pay analysis and structure design, benefit design
Line HR experience would be advantageous
Strong Project Management skills
Previous experience in an internationally operating organization
