We are looking for a talented Digital Product Manager - OptiTech/Over the Air Programming platform services to join our team specializing in Marketing for our Corporate Business Unit/ CBS Business Segment in Indianapolis, IN.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Drive the vision, roadmap and plans for platform capabilities and products that customers use to update and reconfigure their fleet equipment to improve fleet reliability and reduce the total cost of ownership.

  • Define the platform approach to securely updating and configuring customer equipment remotely in all Cummins markets and business units across the world

  • Engage customers, partners and internal stakeholders to determine business requirements, technical considerations, and strategic objectives

  • Collaborate with engineering and operations peers to deliver strategic and tactical plans and objectives

  • Manage product owner(s) on the relevant scrum team(s) to deliver quality capabilities on time

  • Drive product management from planning to delivery and iterative discovery and implementation.


To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Marketing or related field from an accredited university/college or at least 7 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree required

  • 4 years of professional experience in Product Management

  • Knowledge and practical experience with IoT- and Cloud based product management or development

  • Knowledge and practical experience with commercial software product lifecycle management and working in and delivering products and services in an agile/lean environment

  • Excellent written and oral communications skills, including experience presenting to executive leadership, participating in the sales cycle, and handling sensitive customer escalations

  • Demonstrated experience in gathering and transforming product requirements into an actionable product roadmap

  • Understand complexity of cloud solutions that span IoT connectivity, embedded systems, and cloud integration objectives and challenges

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
