We are looking for a talented External Communications Manager to join our team specializing in Communications for our Corporate Business Segment in Indianapolis, IN. or your remote location:

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Help lead strategic public and media relations activities by working to drive key company messages, amplify the brand, complement business marketing communications initiatives, and protect the company’s reputation.

  • Help lead collaborative cross-functional and business teams to optimize initiatives and ensure consistency across the organization and will work across all business and global teams.

  • Provide strategic and tactical guidance to business and functions across the organization.

  • Work closely with government affairs and investor relations teams as well as other external-facing groups.

  • Often supports senior executives to prepare and execute national, trade and local media interviews, and provides media training and counsel to the company’s leaders.

  • Will cultivate close relationships internally and externally, be a problem-solver, strategic, flexible, and collaborative.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need the following:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a College/University in Communications, Marketing or other related field.

  • At least six (6) years of professional experience in Communications or related field.

  • Digital experience (Emerging trends, digital for business, metrics, advertising content)

  • Graphic design skills, visual communications.

  • System integration, account management for marketing roles.

  • Business to business experience.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
