We are looking for a talented Plant Manager -- Jefferson Marine Upfit to join our team specializing in Plant Management for our Distribution Business Segment in New Orleans, LA
Manages and leads a cross functional team to ensure speed, dependability and efficiency in plant operations.
Leads and develops relationships to meet customer needs.
Manages and leads all plant functions to meet deliverables and drive improvements.
Leads the use of Cummins values, processes and procedures, including promoting the right environment.
Coaches and develops plant staff.
Develops the strategy, goals, and deliverables for the entire plant.
Leads the impacts between the plant and the overall Supply Chain.
Manages the community involvement.
Drives internal cross-functional interactions.
Develops talent - Developing people to meet both their career goals and the organization’s goals.
Drives vision and purpose - Painting a compelling picture of the vision and strategy that motivates others to action.

Education, Licenses, Certifications
College, university, or equivalent degree required.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Significant level of relevant work experience, including managerial, leadership, budgetary, and cross-functional experience, required.
Successful candidate should have manufacturing / operations experience and be comfortable operating in a dynamic environment. Strong change management skills preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary range is $112,000- $168,000. Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after taking into account relevant factors, including a candidate's qualifications and experience where appropriate.
Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage, and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
