DBU AME - PFR Manager

Description

Responsible for the development and preparation of forecasting, analyzing, and evaluating financial plans and budgets for the assigned business unit or corporation.

Develops and prepares annual operating budgets and/or periodic financial reports.

Analyzes, evaluates, and develops forecasting models.

Identifies to management potential areas of opportunities and risk.

Designs and develops strategic financial analysis projects as necessary.

Manages a team of Financial Analysts.

Coaches and mentors financial analysts; assigns work according to availability, skills, and developmental needs; assesses performance and provides feedback to direct reports.

Education, Licenses, Certifications

College, university, or equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required. Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, Chartered Accountant or similar certification preferred.

Experience

Significant experience required, including supervisory experience.

  1. Assist with the AOP process for the DBU Africa Middle East Org.

  2. Lead the loading of segments monthly and quarterly Actuals, forecast and for the AOP, assist with the Reporting analysis for the DBU Africa Middle East Org.

  3. Enhance the capability of the finance organization by developing and rolling out advanced financial analysis models that improve our understanding of the business.

  4. Streamline reporting process and templates across the Africa Middle East Region

  5. Assist with DBU Corporate reporting requirements e.g. Regional review packs and Forecast review packs

  6. Coach and develop the PFR junior analysts and FDP’s

  7. Partner with business leaders and provide the required support through structured reporting (e.g. retail reviews) as well as ad-hoc reports and analysis.

  8. Point of contact for analysis DBU business leaders (After-Market), assist with analyzing reports and preparing reports for the DBU leadership team

  9. Assist with the financial simulation process for DBU Africa.

  10. Being able to work effectively in a teams and cross-functionally

  11. Ability to deliver within tight deadlines

  12. Ability to work with complex financial information and have solid analytical skills.
