We are looking for a talented Manufacturing Operations Manager - 1st Shift to join our team specializing in Manufacturing Operations Manager for our BUSINESS SEGMENT in Florence SC your remote home office.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Provides manufacturing leadership for small or medium size plant, shift or department. Manages multiple shifts of an assembly line, fabrication or machining operation.

  • Provides manufacturing leadership and improvement focus in operations driving results, creating and monitoring measures, providing motivation, and setting expectations in safety, quality, delivery and cost.

  • Communicates with customers, suppliers, shop floor, stakeholders, and staff.

  • Leads annual operating plan, forecasts, and other measurements for manufacturing operations.

  • Manages, coaches, and develops staff; works with employees to set goals in training and development, performance, and career planning.

Education, Licenses, Certifications

College, university, or equivalent degree required.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience

  • Significant level of relevant work experience, including managerial, leadership, and budgetary experience, required.

  • Assist the team in diagnosing problems and in implementing necessary modifications.

  • Serve as a liaison between other teams and operating systems.

  • Recognizes and implements improvements to production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.

  • Holds communication meetings on a regular basis to facilitate performance and respond to employee needs.

  • Assures that operating budgets are within forecasted levels.

  • Drive continuous improvement through the process.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience, range: $100,000-$150,000. Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage, and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
