We are looking for a talented Maintenance Engineer to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Accelera Business Segment in Mississauga, ON / your remote home office.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways
Leads all maintenance processes and operations; conducts regular inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve problems and manages all repair and installation activities, while preparing daily progress reports and maintenance logs.
Monitor the performance and output of the team, assign tasks and inputs to ensure that work specifications, schedules, volume, cost, waste targets and quality standards are met.
Assists management in creating and keeping a team which is focused on continuous improvement. Coach and mentor less experienced team members. Teamwork Communicates effectively with the assigned team and all support teams.
Leads preventative maintenance processes to ensure equipment is available and capable. Collaborates in building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared goals.
Interprets machine and tool maintenance records and data to develop and execute preventative and predictive management strategies to drive continuous improvement within the process.
Leads teams in the maintenance organization, coaches line employees on basic maintenance procedures and works with Facilities, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering on problem identification, troubleshooting, and equipment issue repairs.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Correct hazards and safety concerns within their control and capabilities. Engage in HSE training. Quality Follows all applicable standard work, process documentation and quality procedures such as Statistical Process Control (SPC), and visual standards.
Maintenance Reliability Engineering - Interprets maintenance records of machines, tools and components using failure management strategies and quantitative analyses to either resolve existing issues or to identify new technologies to reduce the probability of failure to acceptable limits to continuously update maintenance plans across the organization
Comply with HSE standards, policies & procedures. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) for protection of themselves and others.

Education/Experience
College, university, or equivalent degree required or Bachelor’s degree in, Engineering or facility management, or a similar field is preferred.
10-15 years of relevant experience with supervising and leading all maintenance processes and operations.
Good understanding of the technical features of plumbing and electrical systems.
Understands the structure of the organization and maintains a strong network across departments.
Builds strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.
