Cummins Inc. Team Lead in Mississauga, Ontario
We are looking for a talented Team Lead to join our team specializing in hydrogen fuel cell power systems technology for our # NewPower Business Unit in Mississauga, Ontario.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Supervises the daily activities of a production unit or teams and monitors work flow
Helps manufacturing staff achieve company goals by communicating expectations, planning, monitoring, and evaluating job results.
Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow.
Responsible for recruiting, hiring, and training employees.
Maintains work flow by monitoring steps of the process; communicates with and assists other manufacturing departments as needed.
Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
Resolves problems by analyzing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions; recommending action.
Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Community college / technical trade / or university, or equivalent plant experience
2 years plant experience as supervisor or team leader in manufacturing.
Supervision, Coaching, Managing Processes, Process Improvement, Tracking Budget Expenses, Production Planning.
Able to deal with complex issues in a fast-paced setting.
Ability to organize, work collaboratively, and safely lead small work teams.
