We are looking for a talented Accountant to join our team specializing in Finance for our Cummins Business Services in Nashville, Tennessee / your remote home office.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Responsible for general accounting work required to maintain the department’s general ledger.

  • Perform financial analysis of the department’s chart of accounts and financial statements by identifying and analyzing variances.

  • Analyze, record and report accounting transactions in a timely manner.

  • Prepare general ledger entries and account reconciliations.

  • Respond to inquiries received from management, internal and external auditors, Sarbanes-Oxley audit group and others regarding financial results, special reporting requests, etc.

  • Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.


To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • College, university, or equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.

  • Minimal relevant professional work experience in the field of study required.

  • Experience with AR/AP, Balancing Accounts, Reconciliation, General Ledger Entries preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
