We are looking for a talented Payroll and Benefits Accountant to join our team specializing in Finance Function for our Corporate Organization in Nashville, TN
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Responsible for general accounting work required to maintain the department’s general ledger.
Perform financial analysis of the department’s chart of accounts and financial statements by identifying and analyzing variances.
Analyze, records and reports accounting transactions in a timely manner.
Prepares general ledger entries and account reconciliations.
Respond to inquiries received from management, internal and external auditors, Sarbanes-Oxley audit group and others regarding financial results, special reporting requests, etc.
Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.
Organization through change activities by using Change Management strategies

College, university, or equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.
Minimal relevant professional work experience in the field of study required.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
