Travel and Expense Director
We are looking for a talented Travel and Expense Director to join our corporate business services team. This role can be based in Nashville, Tennessee, or remote within United States.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Lead global travel programs such as: travel management, travel and entertainment expense, and corporate credit card; ensuring ongoing consistency, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Maintain a thorough understanding of travel policies, practices, and global trends; ensuring the organization uses best in class practices and technologies aligning with Cummins’ business needs.
Develop and improve tools and processes focused on achieving service delivery performance excellence; through leading the development and management of key performance indicators by monitoring and analyzing plan and service delivery as well as develop data driven improvement actions.
Ensure the accuracy and completeness of travel policies and process documentation.
Develop and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external service providers, addressing complex issues to effective resolution.
Lead stakeholder communications to facilitate understanding of travel cost management, company policies and processes.
Develop and lead communications and training to business travelers, internal team members and other key stakeholders on travel programs, practices and global health and security planning for business travelers.
Partner with global leadership teams in the design and delivery of new programs, policies, and continuous improvement opportunities.
Coach and mentor direct reports; assigning work according to availability, skills, and developmental needs; assess performance and provide feedback.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Minimum 10 years is a similar role in a large global matrix organization.
Strong expertise in management of travel programs, meeting and events programs, expenses programs, and corporate cards programs. This includes program strategy development, planning, implementation, and optimization.
Excellent Communications skills and ability to listen to key stakeholders.
Global perspective – uses a global lens and takes a broad view when approaching issues.
Customer focus - Building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.
Build effective teams - Building strong-identity teams that apply their diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals.

Bachelor's degree required.
