This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineering Manager who will be the technical lead in regards to fulfilling our principle design responsibilities when executing turnkey projects under CDM2015.

You will be accountable for a small team of Project Engineers across Europe who will are tasked with ensuring that we meet our technical contractual obligations for all client projects.

Your impact will be seen in these and other ways:

  • Accountable for a team that designs turnkey power stations for direct customer orders, working in collaboration with a subsystem engineering team

  • Ensure that projects are delivered on-time and at a high quality, in a safe and compliant manner.

  • Oversee a high volume of projects simultaneously that range in value (small to medium sized projects)

  • Oversee all design approvals and all sub-contractor work approvals to ensure compliance with all regulations, codes and standards.

  • Develop and implement new engineering processes and design standardization in collaboration with the subsystem engineering team to improve product costs, quality and speed to market.

  • Accountable for the work done by sub-contracted engineering firms, reviewing their work, ensuring completeness and correctness of their work, signing off on work completeness and quality, and serve as the main Cummins interface point of communication for all contracted firms


Skills and Experience Required:

  • Previous Project Management experience in a similar industry would be preferred

  • Ability to manage multiple projects at different stages and varied values

  • Experienced with CDM2015 as well as knowledgeable with installation standards like BS7671 and UK Gas Regulations

  • Experienced in motivating and overseeing a diverse team of Engineers

Required Education, Licenses or Certifications

  • Engineering qualifications preferred, or relevant industry experience.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary between £61 - £75,000 depending on experience

  • Company pension contributions of 5%

  • Variable annual bonus of 9%
