We are looking for a talented FIXED ASSET COORDINATOR to join our team specializing in Managing & Monitoring Capital Assets for our BUSINESS SEGMENT in Rocky Mount, North Carolina

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Assist with Capital Asset Management

  • Monitor and track capital expenses and expense targets

  • Work closely with management to quickly, accurately and efficiently correct accounting errors.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment effectively and efficiently

  • Ability to navigate, utilize and perform within Microsoft Office Suite

  • Have a minimum of 2 years consistent experience in an accounting setting or 1 year experience and a degree in a related field

  • Have the ability to maintain organization in a hybrid work role

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.

Education, Licenses, Certifications

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

A two year University degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred.

Experience

Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.

Manages and performs fixed asset audits.

Works closely with Engineering manager managing capital expense expenditures

Supports plant with capital RFA submissions

Performs Capital/RFA training to plant personnel

Manages the plant's lease accounts (PIV, Vehicles, etc.) which includes vehicle registrations/tags

Manages various tax submissions specific to the plant.

Provide additional support to PFR/AP/AR functions as required.

Performs month-end close journal entries

Generate specific weekly/monthly PFR reports

Complete monthly and quarterly Reconciliation reports

Responsible for Census surveys, LS5.1 & 5.2 Audits and tax documents/submission
