We are looking for a talented Technician Associate to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Engine Business Segment in Rocky Mount, NC.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Completes training and personal development in line with business requirements.

  • Performs the skilled activities expected by their roles in accordance with defined roles and responsibilities

  • Performs quality inspections.

  • Comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures and regulations.

  • Support equipment uptime and downtime failure analysis.

  • Performs work in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals and specifications using various tools, measuring and testing instruments.

Education, Licenses, Certifications

  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.


Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.

  • Line Support - 3rd shift

  • Review and approval for Requests for Change (RFC)

  • Review and approve Engineering Releases

  • Knowledge and use of all required systems with changes (EASE, ORACLE, MES, IMS, etc)

  • Responsible for identifying all required new error proofing for future products/current product changes

  • Capable of revising documentation to reflect future product driven changes

  • Assist all businesses in gathering process and product related data

  • Support work smoothing activities

  • Actively participates in new product design reviews and able to provide manufacturing feasibility feedback to the designs team(s) through actively participating in fitchecks and supporting Design for Assembly (DFA) assessment

  • Works with project engineering, technicians and managers on new product production line issues

  • Support continuous improvement efforts throughout the RMEP Business: Safety, Quality, Cost, Throughput improvement efforts

  • Support the implementation of new products for manufacturing team readiness

  • Must have working hour flexibility to meet customer needs; to include offshift coverage for project rollout

  • Support Key Initiatives/Critical Projects

  • Support PFMEA

  • Support ergonomic assessments

  • Support plant Quality Audits

  • Update Team Meeting Information

  • Address Step 3 requirements for Before In Service Issue.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
