Senior Key account manager

Description

In this role you will have the responsibilities for managing the relationship and business strategies for complex accounts (regional, single business unit, internal, etc.) as well as larger, more complex key accounts.

About the role:

Working in close collaboration with other colleagues of the Account Management team you`ll be responsible in expanding existing customer relationships and executing account sales plans in support of business strategy. You will also:

  • Develop, manage, and maintains business relationships with assigned key accounts supporting the organization's sales strategy.

  • Supports growth or new business opportunities and cost initiatives.

  • Extends and expands sale of products and services to existing clients.

  • Leads, manages and coordinates communication and interfaces with the customer at appropriate levels.

  • Negotiates and implements contracts with accounts as authorized.

  • Manages production and distribution issues associated with accounts.

  • Supports account strategy and works with key stakeholders in the business to achieve optimum results.

  • Responsible for measuring customer satisfaction and creating action plans to improve satisfaction based on data.

  • Manages accounts receivable deliverables including payment terms negotiation discussions.

  • Drives cross business unit account development in support of account strategy.

Qualifications

About you:

You have strong sales or account management experience within an automotive industry (OEM), if you enjoy and can evidence a high level of attention to detail, resiliency, and strong communication skills along with an interest in managing complex accounts in the international environment, we’d love to hear from you. Here are some of the other skills and competencies we’d like you to have:

  • BA degree in in Marketing, Sales, Technical or a related discipline.

  • MA and (or) MBA degree in the Marketing, Sales disciplines or social discipline is a plus.

  • You have strong professional experience in Sales Management, Business Development and / or Account management, including previous customer and/or product experience.

  • Experience in working within the automotive / heavy machinery markets (OEM).

  • Experience in working with large / complex accounts.

  • You are fluent in English, as this is our main business language, along with any other languages (French language is preferable).
