Education, Licenses, Certifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing Technologies, Industrial Engineering or related.

Experience

5 years in the specific function or similar.

Qualifications

· Advanced English

· Experience with machining processes (CNC´s, lathes, and milling machines)

· Projects and budget management.

· GD&T and Core Tools knowledge

· Experience working with IATF 16949 or ISO 19001

· Team management

· Experience working with ferrous alloys (metal castings).

Responsibilities

· Leads the planning, designing, purchasing, and implementation of changes to the manufacturing

· equipment and systems while leading and co-leading teams.

· Leads the work for specific projects to create and implement all aspects of a manufacturing processes to ensure safety requirements, manufacturing goals, business goals, and product specifications are met. As well as all the financial aspects (budget management, CAPEX and OPEX)

· People management and administration of the tooling and sharpening workshop.

· Leads by applying the knowledge or use of manufacturing principles and practices to improve manufacturing equipment and processes.

· Capacity analysis and line balancing to improve processes.

· Impacts the work by utilizing continuous improvement tools, following the Cummins standards, and leading the development of manufacturing standards and working methods.

· Leads the communications with and influences key external stakeholders, business leaders, and functional members.

· Works with internal and external resources on specific project assignments.

· Direct contact and development of suppliers.

· Leads the advanced knowledge of manufacturing principles and practices as they are applied to Cummins.

· Maintains relationships and coaches’ key stakeholders.
