Business Analyst - Finance


This is an exciting, permanent opportunity for a Senior Finance Business Analyst to join

our high performing, dynamic finance team based in our state-of-the-art APAC HQ in


You will be working with a forward-thinking, collaborative leader in a driven team and manage senior stakeholder relationships across the wider business. In this role you will design and implement quality modelling to manage, forecast and interpret the business’ utilisation of assets, from the day-to-day mechanics through to business

improvements and other value adding functions.

Day to day your duties will include:

  • Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Manage the month-end close process, including identification of accruals, revenue

and expense recognition SOX requirements

  • Prepare management reports

  • Provide analytical support to operational teams and branches

  • Track performance to strategic KPIs and work with business to identify

opportunities for improvement

  • Develop strong relationships with Area Directors and senior management to

embed financial analysis in decision making

  • Provide sound financial advice to regional teams

  • Manage and assess capital expenditure program against budget/forecast and

challenge business managers to deliver cost effective use of capital

  • Drive process excellence in Finance by removing duplication of effort, consolidating

activity and utilising technology

The successful candidate:

  • Holds a degree in Finance or MBA as well as CPA/CA qualification

  • Has a minimum of 7 years of experience in industry and/or Big 4

  • Must be a business partner with a very strong analysis capability

  • Has financial modelling experience

  • Is an excellent communicator with the ability to impact and influence

  • Has strong commercial acumen with advanced excel skills

  • Is curious and driven by desire for continuous improvement

Education, Licenses, Certifications

College, university, or equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required. Progress toward Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, Chartered Accountant or similar certification preferred.


Intermediate level of relevant professional work experience in the field of study required.
