CPE Engineer – Technical Specialist

We are seeking a talented Combustion and Emissions Systems Technical Specialist to join our team. This role is based in Seymour Indiana and offers a hybrid schedule. The candidate would be required to work onsite two days a week and work remotely three days a week.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Develop new tools and processes for CPE
Define engine performance requirements to meet program requirements and determine how to verify requirements.
Lead performance related FIRGs (Failure Incidence Review Reporting Group ) and support other teams in FIRG resolution.
Support engine test cell testing in-person and perform engine system troubleshooting
Analyze technical data to create summary presentations and Cummins Technical Reports.
Support field tests and field issues as needed.
Guide less experienced engineers though engine performance development and technical challenges
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
College, university, or equivalent Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other relevant technical disciplines is required.
Prior Senior or Lead Engineer equivalent work experience in a relevant discipline area is required with a demonstrated track record of technical problem solving and quality decision making and knowledge of MS Office tools
A minimum of 5 years of applicable and relevant experience

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
