Qualifications

This is an exciting opportunity for Corporate Strategy Analysts – Seniors #MN213 in Shoreview, Minnesota

Your impact will happen in these and other ways:

  • Apply engineering principles and practices to participate in multiple business strategy projects within a business unit, across multiple business units, or in the creation of a new business venture including joint venture, equity alliance or acquisition.

  • Utilize Industrial engineering best practices to develop and enhance quality systems for the strategy function to support ISO certification.

  • Utilize qualitative and quantitative analyses of industry trends, technology and market sizing to drive strategic decision making by upper management.

  • Apply strategic framework to analyze opportunities and develop solutions utilizing Business Continuity Planning tools.

  • Synthesize environmental data, stakeholder analysis, and market force data within financial and business analysis necessary to develop insights and solutions to support strategic business decisions.

  • Apply extensive knowledge of engine industry practice to develop strong business relationships with all levels across all business units and multiple functions.

  • Participate in engineering strategy projects, and assess project feasibility by analyzing technology, resource needs and market demand.

  • Collaborate with internal business managers on business development and strategic initiatives and plans, and present strategic reports to leadership.

  • Use substantial knowledge of and familiarity with company engine products in order to define a strategy for the company that requires warranty, quality and performance properties to represent the company values.

  • Perform comprehensive statistical data analysis for multiple projects and analyze results based on knowledge of products in order to communicate strategy topics to a variety of audiences.

  • Anticipate and balance the needs of multiple stakeholders.

  • Maintain business partnerships and lead internal and external partners utilizing experience with project management including scope control.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Qualitative and quantitative analyses

  • Business Continuity Planning tools

  • Analyze market force data to support strategic business decisions

  • Stakeholder analysis

  • Engine industry practice

  • Business development and strategic initiatives

  • Statistical data analysis

  • Balancing multiple stakeholders

  • Project management including scope control.

Required Education, Licenses or Certifications:

  • Positions require a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management or related field and 2 years of experience as a Quality or Sales Engineer, Strategy or Business Analyst, or related position.

  • Alternatively, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management or related field and 5 years of experience as a Quality or Sales Engineer, Strategy or Business Analyst, or related position.

JOB SITE: Shoreview, Minnesota

WORK HOURS: 40 hours/week - 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Compensation and Benefits

Base hourly rate commensurate with experience plus bonus.
