Business Development Manager, Data Centre Markets, Asia Pacific
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team based in Tuas, Singapore. This is a hybrid role.This role will be responsible for managing the relationships, account strategies and business execution initiatives across the Asia Pacific region, with a focus on Data Centre (DC) Accounts.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Senior level customer relationship and Account Management of APAC Regional accounts and global strategic accounts.
Create and manage customer Account plans.
Identify and bring new opportunities to the business across APAC for potential high-volume customers.
Identify Business Development opportunities within the APAC DC market for future growth as per targets.
Working with the commercial teams from each APAC country to secure opportunities in line with AOP targets.
Working within AOP expense targets.
Support business strategies across all regions to build DC market share and increase revenue.
Support and promote aftersales engagement.
Pipeline management for accounts.
Drive RFQ opportunities for key accounts, assisting with SAF and full cross-functional team engagement.
CRM utilisation for customer activity and account ownership Salesmax.
Engagement with all internal stakeholders to support accounts and DC customers. Driving strategies, promoting teamwork, and ensuring that the internal teams are delivering the best outcomes for the business and customer.
Driving upstream influencing efforts with Cummins teams to the end customer.
Responsibility will be account specific across all APAC countries, depending on customer activity.
This role will be required to travel within the APAC region.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Ideally 5 or more years of experience in the Power Generation (or similar) Industry within Sales Account Management or Business Development Management.
Proven experience in managing large complex (USD10mill or more) customer accounts and relationships.
Strong business acumen and judgement.
Leading non-reporting cross-functional teams.
Strong collaboration and influencing skills.
Significant level of relevant work experience required with Customer-facing experience preferred.
