Corporate Paralegal
Description
We are looking for a talented Corporate Paralegal to join our team. This role is based in Nashville, TN with yearly or quarterly travel for meetings and conferences.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Overseeing the availability and access to board and governance resources, including managing the board portal
Preparing and distributes board and board committee meeting materials, maintaining meeting calendars and supporting physical and virtual meeting logistics
Prepares and distributes shareholder agendas and materials
Providing assistance in the preparation and filing of stock transaction reporting and assisting with insider trading policy notification and compliance, and assisting with the preparation of annual and quarterly SEC filings
Assisting with the preparation of D&O questionnaires. Assists with preparation of the annual proxy statement.
Facilitating compliance with legal department policies and procedures, including record retention, privileged document protocols and the legal hold process
Assisting with, obtaining, and distributing notarizations, apostilles, legalized documents, and corporate filings
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
College, university, or BA equivalent degree required. This position may require licensing for compliance with paralegal regulations in the state where the candidate is based.
Intermediate level of relevant work experience, including team leadership experience, required
A minimum of 7 years applicable and relevant experience

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
