Cummins, Townsville are hiring!

As a Workshop Diesel Mechanic in our Townsville branch, you’ll be part of our high performing, automotive focused operation, servicing customers across automotive, on-highway, mining, marine and power generation product applications.You will play a vital role in upholding Cummins’ strong presence in the region. Your duties will be to perform diagnostics and trouble-shooting, scheduled maintenance/checks and carry out servicing and monitoring of engines and power gen sets.

About you…

  • A Heavy Diesel trade qualification is preferable

  • Light Automotive may be considered

  • Experience as a Diesel Mechanic in the service and maintenance of heavy diesel products, mining equipment, power generation on engines and similar applications is preferred (ideally with an OEM)

  • Previous workshop exposure would be highly regarded

  • Be able to follow processed and procedures

  • Solid diagnostic and IT capabilities

  • A mature attitude and logical and methodical approach to your work

  • A strong safety focus
