We are looking for a talented Diesel Mechanic to join our office in Toowoomba, QLD. The team is specialising in Heavy Vehicle repairs and maintenance across automotive, agricultural, on-highway and power generation product applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Deliver a first-class service to our customers across, automotive, mining and power generation

  • Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products, in shop and in field

  • Diagnose and repair various engines

  • Engine rebuilding and reconditioning

  • Ensure adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and report issues and incidents

  • Complete required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens

QUALIFICATIONS

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Mechanical trade qualified - Heavy or Light Vehicle 4th year

  • Previous experience of working in the local area is highly advantageous

  • Service and maintenance experience in heavy diesel products, mining equipment, power generation on engines, including engine overhauls and major repairs

  • Solid diagnostic capabilities
