We are looking for a talented Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in Wetherill Park, NSW. If you enjoy leading a team, and being part of the team, then this hands on Supervisor role is for you!
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Managing the day to day running of the warehouse including warehouse operators and supporting / covering their duties as required
Receive incoming goods, accurately sort, label/package, store goods and arrange storage to optimize warehouse space
Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders ensuring accuracy. Both internal and external customers
Maintain and encourage a safe environment
Managing frequent cycle counts and the annual stock control
Assisting customers both in person and over the phone, helping with parts interpreting, prioritizing orders and managing any urgent enquiries / issues
Parts quality control
Manage core and parts credits, organize parts and freight, check parts availability and work with the parts and service team to ensure parts are assigned and allocated accordingly
Ensures clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping tasks and compliance
Operates manual and automated equipment (including a forklift) to pick, pack and ship product per the customer expectations, adhering to all health and safety guidelines
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Previous warehousing experience – ideally in an automotive, parts or similar industry is advantageous
Be keen to step into a hands-on leadership role, leading the team by example and being a team player
Great people and organisational skills
Time management and planning skills
Forklift License
Excellent computer skills (MS Office – intermediate Excel) and have the ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
Ability to work in a safe heavy lifting environment (up to 25kgs)
